1) Overview
97 Pocket Suite is a personal productivity app for daily utility workflows. Features may include GPS Map Camera, Journey Circle Tracker, Image to Contact, Scanner to Image, Bulk Share Editor, File Manager, and Location Photos Timeline.
2) Permissions used by the App
To provide core functionality, the App may request the following permissions depending on the feature you use:
- Camera: Used to capture photos, documents, and contact cards.
- Location (fine / coarse): Used for GPS Map Camera, Journey Circle Tracker, and location-based tools.
- Background Location: Used only when a user actively starts Journey Circle tracking and tracking must continue while the app is minimized or the screen is off.
- Photos / Media / Files: Used to import, save, browse, and export images or scanned files.
- Contacts: Used only if the user chooses to save extracted contact details to device contacts.
3) Location Information
97 Pocket Suite may access device location information to enable features such as GPS Map Camera, Journey Circle Tracker, and Location Photos Timeline.
When users start the Journey Circle Tracker feature, the App may collect location data to record travel routes, distance traveled, visited stops, and route history. This may continue in the background while tracking is active so the route remains accurate even if the user switches apps or turns off the screen.
When using GPS Map Camera, the App may add location details such as GPS coordinates, address, date, and timestamp to photos captured by the user.
Location access is used only when the user actively uses these features or manually starts tracking. While tracking is active, a visible foreground notification is displayed to inform the user.
Location data is stored locally on the user's device unless the user explicitly exports, backs up, or shares the data.
4) Camera and Media Access
The App uses camera access when the user captures photos, scans documents, or scans contact cards. Media and file access may be used to import images from the gallery, save processed files, and manage exported content.
5) Contact Extraction and Saving
The Image to Contact feature may process text from contact cards or images to detect details such as name, phone number, email, company, website, and address. If the user chooses, this information may be saved to the device contacts by using contact permissions.
Extracted information is reviewed and controlled by the user before saving.
6) File Storage
Files created or processed by the App, such as scanned images, PDFs, route data, and exported photos, may be stored locally on the user's device. The App does not sell this data.
7) Sharing and Exports
The App may allow users to export or share files using other apps or cloud services. These actions are initiated by the user. We are not responsible for how third-party apps or services handle shared content.
8) Data Retention
Data created or stored by the App generally remains on the user's device until the user deletes it, uninstalls the App, or removes exported/shared content manually.
9) Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect data handled by the App. However, no method of storage or transfer is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10) Children's Privacy
This App is not directed to children under 13 and is intended for general productivity use.
11) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect improvements, legal requirements, or feature changes. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
